Sunday Blessings: A Heartfelt Reflection

Sunday has always been my favorite day of the week. It’s Mass day — a day to pause, reflect, and gather with my faith community to worship and give thanks. Every Sunday feels like a gift, and I never take it for granted.
One of the greatest blessings in my parish is having Father Marino as our shepherd. His deep knowledge of Scripture and church history never fails to inspire me. Whether he’s delivering a homily, leading a Bible study, or just sharing a kind word after Mass, I always walk away having learned something new. His wisdom and dedication help deepen my faith and strengthen my understanding of our beautiful traditions.
I feel incredibly grateful for this community God has placed me in — for the people who gather together each week, for the friendships that have formed, and for the guidance and example of our devoted clergy.
As I head into this new week, my heart is full of gratitude for all the ways God shows His love through my parish family.
Tomorrow, we’re heading up to Miami to see the orthopedic surgeon for my son’s broken elbow. We are hoping for good news and a smooth path to healing. I humbly ask for your prayers for my son and our family — that God guides the doctors and gives us peace and strength in this time.
Wishing you all a peaceful and blessed Sunday. Thank you for keeping us in your prayers
