Life, Family, and God’s Blessings

Life, Family, and God’s Blessings

It’s been a little over a week since my last post, and I want to start off with an apology to all my readers. Life has been busy lately! Between working on some home projects and getting the kids fully settled back into the rhythm of school (and the nightly homework that comes with it), the days seem to fly by.

On top of that, Father Marino recently asked Sarah and I if we would consider teaching the CCD class at our parish. He mentioned that he thought having a married couple lead together would be a blessing for the children. I was both humbled and honored by his request. I am always happy to serve the Lord in any way He calls, and if this is where God wants us, I know He will guide our steps.

In the meantime, we continue to celebrate outdoor Mass as the renovations at the Basilica continue. This past Sunday, the weather was just beautiful. After Mass, Sarah and I had enjoyed a quiet lunch, followed by a walk together through downtown Key West. Simple moments like these remind me of how truly blessed I am.

On the family side, we are now less than 90 days away from our December cruise on the Disney Treasure! The excitement in our home is building as we book onboard activities and port adventures. Everyone is planning outfits, excursions, and little details to make the trip extra special. It’s been several years since all six of us have traveled together, and I know these opportunities are becoming rarer as the kids grow older and begin to build their own lives. That makes this upcoming trip all the more meaningful. I cherish every chance we have to create memories as a family.

Through all of this, I continue to feel grateful for the abundant blessings God has given me. I give Him all the glory, and I ask each day for His protection, His guidance, and the strength to live fully by His will.

Bible Verse:

“Give thanks to the Lord, for he is good; his love endures forever.” 1 Chronicles 16:34

Prayer:

Heavenly Father, thank You for the gift of family, for the opportunities to serve You, and for the blessings You pour out each day. Guide me to walk in Your ways and to always give thanks, even in busy seasons. Protect my loved ones and help us to keep You at the center of our lives. Amen
