A New Chapter of Service: Joining the Knights of Columbus

Last night, I had the privilege of attending my very first meeting as a new member of the Knights of Columbus. I am filled with excitement, gratitude, and a deep sense of humility as I begin this journey with my fellow brothers in Christ.
Becoming part of this historic order is more than just joining a group — it’s a commitment to living out my faith through service, charity, and fraternity. I’m grateful for the opportunity to stand alongside othred who are devoted to serving our Church, our families, and our community.
As I sat in that room, surrounded by men of faith and action, I felt a renewed sense of purpose. It reminded me how important it is to step out of our comfort zones and give our time and talents to do God’s work here on earth.
I know this is just the beginning, but I’m excited for what lies ahead — the projects we will take on, the families we will help, and the ways we can make a real difference in Key West.
I pray that God continues to guide my steps and give me the strength, wisdom, and compassion to serve well. May my small acts of service bring glory to Him and hope to others.
“And let us not grow weary of doing good, for in due season we will reap, if we do not give up.” — Galatians 6:9
Closing Prayer:
Lord, thank You for this new opportunity to serve You and my community through the Knights of Columbus. Fill my heart with love and humility. Grant me courage to serve selflessly and the wisdom to be a light to others. May all I do bring honor to Your holy name. Amen.
